Discover our campus in Torhout, a cosy town with a warm heart for students
Welcome to the Torhout campus of VIVES University of Applied Sciences. Torhout may be a smaller city but it still has a lot of facilities that you as a student can enjoy. Sports can be practiced on the various indoor and outdoor sports grounds and the swimming pool. You can enjoy your dose of culture in the theatre and cinema halls. Torhout also has several nice student cafes and restaurants, and a student residence and rooms near the campus.
The campus is easily accessible at just 5 minutes from the station. You can also park your car in the immediate vicinity or park your bicycle on the campus. The campus has Wi-Fi facilities everywhere, a freely accessible computer room, a well-equipped library, a gym and a dance studio. There are hot and cold meals available on the campus and there is also a vibrant student dorm with a lot of activities for the students.
The campus has a fully equipped kitchen for food care, a wellness area for bio aesthetics, a hairdressing salon for hair, a recording studio in the musical training room, an 'all-on-one' sports hall, a modern language laboratory, PC rooms with the latest gadgets, and separate and adapted subject rooms for: history, physics, biology, geography, visual education, technological education.
There are currently no international programmes at this campus.
