Sports

Usually, studying involves sitting (almost) motionlessly for hours on end on your desk chair; this really compromises your healthy dose of movement. The VIVES Student Facilities Department (Stuvo) does not like to see this happen, and has a number of plans in place to enable VIVES students to partake in sports cheaply and happily.

For example, we work together with the 'Sport Na School' project. At the reception of your campus, you can buy an annual pass (€ 25) or a half-year pass (€ 15). Als VIVES-student maak je na de lesuren bovendien helemaal gratis gebruik van de sportzaal op je campus!

Student initiatives

Students who have a good idea and would like to put it into practice can submit it to the Student Facilities Department (Stuvo). We try to encourage fun, sporting and cultural initiatives through sponsoring.  This can be as much as half the cost, with a maximum of 50 € per person.  

Your activity must meet with certain conditions: it is not curriculum related (i.e. not linked to the evaluation of students), widely accessible and does not aim to make a profit. The target group of the activity you organise is, of course, VIVES students.  The service Student Facilities must be mentioned as sponsor on all publicity, and afterwards you will provide a report on how you have spent the amount of money you have been awarded.

Competities

The VIVES sports teams are ready to make their presence felt in the Flemish competition for universities and colleges. The jerseys are ready, now we need some motivated players to turn our teams into real dream teams! We are active in the following disciplines:
