The teacher training departments of VIVES Bruges, Kortrijk and Torhout are proud to present you a new module VIVES International Classroom Keys In Education with the focus on physical education.
This module gives you topical and innovative keys you can use as a teacher in education and has been specially designed for both Belgian teacher training students (internationalization at home) and incoming ERASMUS+ students from universities and university colleges we have an inter-institutional agreement with.
The module will provide students with skills, knowledge and experiences in order to increase their teaching competences with a focus on physical education, coaching and training (sport and leisure), intercultural competences, personal growth, global awareness and international knowledge related to education. Each module includes permanent assessment based on oral and/or written presentations.
The classes are mostly practical. The official language is Dutch (teachers and fellow students translate content and instruction when necessary). Papers or reports are drawn up in English. The traineeship will take place in Dutch-speaking schools, though the trainees can use English. This can be in a primary and/or a secondary school.
Target student groups for V.I.C.K.I.E. Sports+ are students of secondary teacher training: general and sports courses. English language skills on a B2-level according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR) are a prerequisite.
