What will I learn?

Our aviation centre in Ostend is home to both national and international students looking to take their first steps in the field of aviation. All lecturers have experience in the field and are passionate to share it with their students.

Our aviation programme revolves are three main pillars, all of which are represented in our programme for Erasmus students: Flight, Tech and Unmanned Aircraft Systems. You can decide to specialise in one field or mix and match across all three of them.

Flight involves everything for the future pilot. You learn about the technical and operational part of aircrafts and the logistic side of airports. Collecting your first airmiles won’t also be a problem in our very own aviation training centre.

More interested in becoming an aviation mechanic? Both unmanned and manned aircraft systems are available for technician training at our campus. Dive deep in everything technics and technology-related for a versatile job that involves repairing wings, brakes and electrical systems, and detecting and fixing technological problems in aeroplanes, helicopters and drones.

Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) play the main part in our Drone Lab. Here, you get into the technical and technological side of flying, wheeling and rolling UAS. By getting to know every detail of these systems, you can both engineer and steer them.
